Aluminum Alloy 1911 grips. With ambi cut. (Free Shipping)

These are Aluminum alloy 1911 grips with the ambi-cut. They are molded and electo-plated with a high polish for superior durability and wear resistance. These will not easily scratch, rust, and has an unapparelled chemical resistance.

These are Fiber Laser engraving ready and will finish with a simple alcohol wipe down. They engrave very dark and will provide a great contrast between the high polish and marking so the need for hand polishing and color filling black will not be needed.

They only come in high polish so no "matte or satin" finishes are available. For Fiber users we recommend a 110 lens and the following settings but a 200-220 lens could be used (You may need to increase your passes):

Hatch: Double (Black & Blue pens for EZCad) (No clean up pass required but can be used

Speed (in): 8 &10-12 | Power: 100% | Freq: 20 | Passes: 30-100 (Until your preferred engraving depth is reached)

Focus: Varies. You will need to focus according to the lens you are using.

Please note: The first 10-15 passes may not yield any desirable results. This is due to the plating process. You will see a "white/silvery" and then a "pink/red-ish" color during the engraving process. This is normal and is not a flaw. This is the protective layer under the polish layer. Once that is removed you will be begin to see metal and the engraving time will shorten drastically. Start with 20 passes and then increase that number until you are satisfied with the depth of the engraving.

*Note: All sales on these and all other engraved items are final. There are no refunds being granted at this time due to the custom nature of this product. We will only replace them if there is a manufacturing defect but you will need to return them to us, at your expense, before a new set will be sent out. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.*
