*Note:


Please do not show up at the store just because your tracking number said it was delivered. Until further notice, we are appointment based only. We will call you when your transfer is ready (Usually same day but could be up to 24 hours from delivery time).


We appreciate your patience and thank you for your business.


Standard Firearms:


IDX D&E ONLY accepts transfers from active FFL holders. The FFL holders license will be verified before the transaction is completed. If you’ve purchased a firearm online from a private seller, that seller must use an FFL holder to ship the firearm to us. We will not accept transfers from private sellers. NO EXCEPTIONS. If a firearm shows up from a private seller it will be returned to that seller immediately. 


*Note: Unless you are picking up in store, IDX D&E will only sell, ship, and transfer online purchased firearms to current licensed FFL holders. If you are buying from out of state, please check you with you local FFL and verify they are accepting transfers before purchasing from us. We will only ship and transfer online purchased firearms to current FFL holders in your state.


Currently we do not ship to guns or magazines to WA, MA, Il, NY, CA, Hi, PR, OR ANY OTHER Anti-2A state, locality, or community THAT IS PROHIBITED BY FEDERAL, STATE, OR LOCAL LAW.


Once your firearm is received and properly processed we will notify you to come pick it up. We do not do pre-background checks prior to you buying the firearm so make sure you will be able to pass. 


If you are denied the background check, in most cases, the firearm will be returned to the original shipper, however, the firearm becomes the property of IDX D&E, if it cannot be returned to the seller. You will still be responsible for any and all fees associated with the shipment. (Any costs for returning to the seller will be pre-paid at cost plus 20%)


After notification, you must pick up your firearm within 15 business days of notification from us. We will notify you via your preferred contact method. Any firearm left longer than calendar 30 days becomes the property of IDX D&E unless you have alternative arrangements. 


Note: All active duty and deployed, please e-mail or call us before transferring to us so we can take care of you. We will send the transferring dealer a copy of our FFL via e-mail or fax, based on their preference. We do not provide, under any circumstances, our FFL to customers. 


IDX D&E has no responsibility for the condition of the firearm and is not responsible for any loss, theft or damage during shipment. 


We charge $25 for each firearm transferred to us unless there are multiple firearms included. If multiple firearms are received in a single shipment, it is $25 for the first firearm and $15 for each additional firearm. It is considered a single shipment if received on the same day. 


NFA:

We are now taking NFA items for transfer. Your item must come from a SOT. The transfer fees for all NFA items are $50. The policy is the same for NFA as with Standard Firearms.

NFA items are typically engraved same day but this depends upon our schedule, but, no NFA item is held longer than 48 hours. NFA engraving is a  pre-paid service. The cost is $55 for civilians and $40 for all LEO & active duty military.


(Note: Receivers and Actions not in a fully assembled firearm are considered ‘other’ weapons to the ATF. You must be 21 years old and an Idaho resident to transfer a lower receiver or frame/action to us.)
