Please note: All firearms transaction must be shipped to an active FFL in your state or picked up in store. Note: All serialized firearms must be shipped to an FFl and cannot be shipped to you directly. We are currently not shipping firearms to the following states: NY, NJ, CA, HI. All standard capacity magazines, over 10 rounds, including Mag extentions, will not be shipped to the following states: NY, NJ, CA, HI, WA.


Once the order has been place, please upload or have your local FFL send us a copy of their license to designus@idxde.com or fax it to us at 208-933-4298. Please make sure to include your contact information and order number in an email or on a fax cover sheet. Once the confirmation process has been completed, we will continue processing your order and send you all necessary tracking information. Our current processing time for FFL purchases is 5-7  business days if we can verify your local FFL. If we cannot there will be additional delays.

1911 ENGRAVING

1911 slide full cover or full firearm deep engraving. Pricing depends on the complexity of the design. Choose from a variety of patterns we have on-hand or add your own custom pattern or design.

*PLEASE NOTE: The starting price is $550. This is the artwork fee to take possession of the firearm and process the artwork. It is billed at our standard artwork fee of $55 per hour at a minimum of 10 hours. The time it takes to create the scrolls varies but we believe this is fair since every 1911 is custom tailored to the customer. If it takes longer that the standard 10 hours due to revisions or complete restarts, the customer will be billed for the additional hours. This has happened a hand full of times but 98% of the time it does not.

For custom graphics to be embedded in the scrolls, we require a high resolution, single-color image preferably on a transparent background in PNG, SVG, AI, or PDF format. This will be an additional fee and explained before we take possession of the firearm.

Due to the nature of this service (gunsmithing) and its length of service, IDX Arms will log your firearm into our A&D book and then log it out when the customer picks up the firearms. No background check will be required, however, the same person who dropped it off on record must be the same person who picks it up.
