At IDX Design and Engraving, a substrate isn’t just a material — it’s the starting point for nearly anything you can imagine. From precision laser engraving to custom fabrication, we turn raw materials into finished pieces that last.


Whether you need a one-of-a-kind sign, a detailed plaque, a framed display, a pet memorial, cutting board, hat patch, or a complex multi-material project involving wood, metal, plastic, or stone, we have the equipment, skill, and experience to make it happen. Our shop combines industrial-grade laser systems with traditional woodworking techniques, allowing us to handle everything from fine surface engraving to full structural builds.


We work with a wide range of woods and finishes and are not limited to flat surfaces. Routed details, acrylic inlays, mitered frames, edge treatments, and hybrid constructions are all part of what we do. If the project can be produced from wood — or starts with it — we can usually find a clean, professional way to deliver it.


Every custom piece is made to order in Idaho and Texas. No generic templates. Just careful work tailored to the design and the purpose.

Recognition deserves more than a generic plaque. At IDX Design and Engraving, we create custom awards that feel intentional, substantial, and lasting.

Whether it’s a championship trophy, employee recognition piece, retirement gift, challenge coin display, or a one-of-a-kind commemorative award, we design and produce pieces that match the significance of the moment. Laser engraving, precision cutting, layered materials, wood bases, acrylic, metal accents, and custom fabrication all come together in our shop so the final product looks and feels premium.


We handle everything from clean, modern designs to more detailed, multi-material builds. Every award is produced to order — no off-the-shelf templates forced into place.

TUMBLERS

We stock 20oz and 30oz for your drinking pleasure. Tal, IDX|LIFE, Built, and RTIC are brands we stock and carry in store but if you bring us one we will test to see if we can mark it.


Typically any tumbler that doesn't have a plastic coating or clear coat over it should be no problem. Powder coat, anodized, painted, cerakote (or an equivalent) is always preferred.
