THE PROCESS
Simple & Efficient
Discuss
First, we discuss your project in detail. We have you fill out an questionnaire and we take it from there.
Outline
We outline your project based on your responses and put the project in to the queue.
Plan
We contact you to give you details about project time frames, ideas, and costs. Once you give us the green light, we submit an official proposal to you, and if accepted, a formal agreement is sent, a deposit is made, and we start the design process.
Design
If you accept our proposal, we will begin the design process. This should take roughly 1-3 weeks to complete.

Review & Revise
Once our first draft is complete, we send you the design and the revision process begins. Once revisions are complete, we submit the final artwork to you for approval.
Deliver
Once approved, we submit the invoice to you for final payment. Once the final payment is made, we send you the book cover files and all artwork.
Design & Layout
The process begins with the design. Once approved, the publisher should give you your book's print dimensions, page count, formats, and ISBN barcode placement.
Once we have that we make the design fit the template. If you have that already then we layout the design over the format template, create the cover to their bleed and trim requirements, flatten the image, and reformat for their printer settings.
Afterwards, we mockup the design in various settings so you can see it come to life before it ever finishes the print.
Formats
Book Cover formats come in many different sizes, thicknesses, and layouts. Depending on your printing choices (set by your publisher), the end formats will likely be E-book, Paperback, or Hardcover.
Our design will include all three formats and will be laid out and mocked up for you to highlight them individually.
Using this method, you can submit them to your publisher for review and changes during the revision review/revise phase and once that is complete you will be ready for handoff.
